"He sends the rain on the just and the unjust alike."
At times a pleasant surprise could last only for a moment, while we fail to recognize how it came to be. The blessings that are most plentiful can go unappreciated due to their simplicity or the quick way in which they come without effort. Those are the blessings of freedom.
But in the oppressed land, people cry out moment by moment for relief. Their lives are troubled by government regulation and laws that were created to restrain a lost nation. Each price that is too high for a vital purchase, each time some unfeeling legality halts our efforts, each time the store has no stock of the items we need, each time a stranger reacts rudely for no reason, each time friends or family are not available to spend time together because of the hardness of life, each time someone is empowered to destroy our hopes, each time someone we love is dragged into court and their life is torn to pieces over a small matter - each time these kinds of suffering and waste take place, we are enlivened with the knowledge that mankind has a desperate need for liberty.
Our spirit yearns daily to be free from the shackles of our oppressors, but that desire is not only for freedom- it is a thirst for the Truth, and rightfully we yearn not just for a truth that can be known, but Truth personified in the One who is all Righteousness, and Honor, and Life! He provides us with liberties when the people do what is right, and when we turn away from godliness our nation falls under the rulership of evil. This was the story of Israel in the book of Kings, and this is the perpetual story of humanity’s quest for freedom.
Christ is the one who answers the desperate cry of the weak and needy. And He is the one who will answer our calls and bring us farther into the light. An ungrateful and wicked heart can easily ignore the goodness that seems to come freely. Those who think a little deeper and recently remember the bitter hand of oppression will say a silent word of thanks in their heart. He gave us this chance to know that He is watching, and is ready to make all things right if we will surrender ourselves to the love of God.
AWAKE! This is the time when men must turn once again to the Lord to receive His goodness and forsake the petty temptations that kept us from the throne of grace. No more can the lust of the flesh rule over us. No more can our belly be our god. No more can deceitfulness, greed, and unbridled passions eat away the potential of our people. Trust in the Lord and do good. So shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed!
We have a glorious calling, not only to fight for freedom, but to win the victory, and to rule through holy justice and firm social pressure for good and right. We must not allow lies to be spread in our social circles. We must fight for what is right, and spurn what is wrong.
We are bound together- an invisible bond holds us not to each other, but to a greater One who holds all things in the palm of His hand. Our unity is in God and the work of His Holy Son Jesus Christ. He is the One who holds us, and in His right hand we shall never fall!
Prosperity is simply accepted when the work of God is allowed to happen in the people- (we each must make our choice.) Riches and wealth, health and provision, technology and achievement, can flow like water, and poverty may be forgotten.
But first we must fight in the great battle for our country. Holiness, Charity, Purity, and Obedience will be the weapons by which Satan is laid low. He will be cast down to the pit, disproved and rejected in his pernicious and vile ways.
We must eliminate feminism, transgenderism, and all forms of sexual perversion. Repent for materialism and outlaw the tools and elements of addiction. Oppose lies and greed. Fight injustice and condemn rebellion. Bring an end to lawlessness and corruption.
May God empower and protect you in this mission and heal our land! Godspeed.
