Letter 4

2023

When in history it was found necessary to defeat any great evil, there has always been a hero to stand for the innocent, empowered by the might of the most high God, bearing in his soul the promise of victory. This letter may be the call for you.

Human leaders most often desire to use technology and the advancements of science in the new age, to improve the lives of people abroad, while simultaneously hoping to secure their role as permanent residents of the ruling class, for their personal benefit and their children after them. The benefits of rulership corrupt those who live outside the precept of God.

In our time, as throughout all time, people follow those who demonstrate charismatic fervor toward a vision we hope to see fulfilled. We wish for the fulfillment of their kind promises: yet as always, society is divided on the basis of personal experiences, cultural differences, religious beliefs, knowledge, and simple opinions. We may not believe their words. We accept that the promises of democratically selected leaders are often left unfulfilled- further, we are all aware of the influence of lies and deceit upon the democratic process, and how these are wielded for the acquisition of power.

No record of any nation is complete without the agony of its inception, or the tale of its tragic end: and each proud empire in his turn has become the cautionary tale for succeeding generations of kingdoms. Are we now destined to become that next warning sign on the road of history?

In the days when our American government was founded, we were duly warned that only a wise and godly people could sustain a form of government in which leaders were selected by the common man; for when each individual shares a portion of the throne, every one who is corrupted brings the country deeper into oppression.

Our blessed people inherited the goodness of the Lord for a long sequence of generations. But the common man has lost his way and forgotten to shoulder his part of the kingship of democracy. Morality, purity, faithful religion, temperance, and honesty: these are the traits that are found in the ruler of a thriving nation! If we in our personal life have ceased to fulfil these virtues, then we have become a part of the very plague that is consuming our homeland.

Not so long ago, the lessons of righteousness and pure culture were taught by mothers and fathers in the home to empower their children in bearing their responsibility to their nation. Boys were taught to become men as they embody strength, courage, duty, and responsibility for others. Girls were taught to become women by their embodiment of love, grace, submission, and responsibility to the home. As we fulfilled these teachings and raised each next generation with love inside the confines of marriage, we received God's blessing on our country.

At this time we see more children born outside the family than legitimate children. Fathers are torn from their children's lives too often by no fault divorce and the family court system. The laws can be changed, but the simple answer to this great trouble is to live morally and exercise a moral influence upon others.

We cannot have a new generation who is able to shoulder the duty of governance unless each child is tutored by their father. He is needed to express his life lessons on hardship and the precepts of God directly to them while their soul is young. As deeply as a baby needs a mother, a child needs a father! We must awake to the truth before all is lost.

America is in desperate need. The first great need is for pure hearted leaders who desire to please God, to exercise power for the public good and depart at their appointed time. The second great need is for each of us to embrace our life's task with a personal accountability to the Creator. We can thus relieve the burden of caring for the masses which is borne by our public officials, and fulfil the second commandment, to love thy neighbor as thyself. Your inheritance will be freedom!
