Men know we travel an isolated road not walked by womankind. We envision for the world a future never seen in the mind of our predecessors, and we hold a lasting hope to repair the faults in the world that have harmed us most.
A woman usually will not understand the anguish we bear. We look out from the hollow, echoing place in our soul and see them walking the bright paths of companionship surrounded and sought after by male and female alike. Their beauty and agreeable nature will draw attention to their aid, to hear their troubles and to share their trials, both in emotional and tangible help. A struggle awaits the gentle sex also, in which exposure to the outer world can injure their tender heart.
While this might seem a broken world and out of balance, it is not. For we tread the road laid before us by divine providence.
The strength and authority of manhood; the surrender and secret power of womanhood- these were once undisputed ideals and the premise of our free and blessed society. We once knew that we were better together. But a lie has been told to poison the generations of our time, to divide us and destroy our great heritage. This false promise persuades women of all nations to abandon innocence, womanhood, and motherhood for the pursuit of some unreachable ideal labeled equality. In the form promised by Satan, it can never be attained! The calling of manhood and womanhood are both truly great: and these two should never be the same. For it is not in the stars, nor can all the power of humankind rally enough strength to bend nature against the will of the Creator.
We have each received the unreplaceable gifts of our sex. No person can make them but the Lord, and no person can take them away without risking the utter destruction of their soul. For a man the mandate of life is to bear the brunt of punishment for all wrongdoing and that generally with little mercy- in his social endeavors, his profession, and his various personal efforts. A woman's great gift is to receive love and blessing in her life to a point that she overflows with the tenderness of motherhood and sustains her children with a never ending love.
In our days we see the tides turn: a man feels the hand of mercy when commitment and love become his, while a woman must face her great trial in the pursuit of spousal and motherly duties. We wish each of these things to be only joy, but life is not so simple or easy as that. In this design each of us may see the unwritten prophecy of our life coming to fullness: through pleasant walks of delight, and through the agonized road of struggle and chaos.
As our mothers and fathers have known and passed down since ancient times, there are needs met only by a mate- a man finds in a woman the answer to his pain and a reason to bear it with patience. A woman finds in a man the fulfillment of all her destiny, and the true satisfaction of belonging.
Brothers and sisters: if we hear the warning spoken here, then we will forsake the lies that have drawn us so far from the truth of love. We will honor our fathers and mothers, choosing holy matrimony to bind ourselves together. We will partake in the creation of new life and raise up many children pure and untainted by evil, fortifying them with the truth against perversion. Rising, they will take up the banner of our forefathers, and protect what is Holy from the marauding wickedness of our enemies.
